CCPS Virginia Literacy Act Information

Virginia Department of Education uses the 2024 English Standards of Learning. This test is provided each Spring to students in grades 3-12. The primary English Curriculum used in Charles City County for grades 7-8 is SAVVAS MyPerspectives, and for grades 9-12, we use McGraw Hill Study Sync. We offer multiple supplemental resources for students to help build literacy and writing skills throughout the year.
