Our CCPS STEAM Night has been rescheduled for Wednesday, January 29th 5:30-7:00pm. Please mark your calendars and we hope you can join us on this new date and time!

Due to the weather and school closure, we will have to reschedule our STEAM Night, originally scheduled for tonight. As soon as a makeup day is determined, we will communicate this with the CCPS community!


CCPS Students and families, in grades Prek-12, are invited to CCES on January 22 for our Polar Pioneers STEAM Night (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Math) from 5:30-7:00!

Charles City County Public Schools/Offices will be closed Monday, January 20th, in observance of MLK day.
Stay warm, and we will see you all back Tuesday, January 21st.

We had an amazing Merry Math Night last night at CCES! Thank you to all the students, families, and staff that worked hard to make this night a success and showed up to have fun! Here are some highlights of the evening:





Students in Mrs. Taylors'/Mr. Washington's 7th Grade Life Science class got to extract DNA from a strawberry with our ITRT, Mrs. Delzer. Students are learning about DNA and how it is involved in Genetic Engineering, and our genes.







Mark your calendars for another EXCITING CCPS EVENT! Join us on December 12 from 5:30-7:00pm for our 1st Merry Math Night! There will be fun math activities fit for all ages headstart through 8th, Hot cocoa and cookies!

On Tuesday, November 5, schools and offices will be closed. Teachers and staff will observe an asynchronous, Virtual PD Day.
