CCES celebrated Read Across America Week by showing our school spirit with dress up days! Students showcased their favorite book/comic characters, superheroes, and Dr. Seuss Characters. It was an amazing week had by all! Thank you to all that came out to read with our students!

Check out the flyer below, for an upcoming family movie night hosted by The Department of Charles City Social Services! This event is completely free for all Charles City County residents that are Fathers and Father Figures, and their children.

CCHS would like to welcome parents/family to celebrate students in Grades 7-9. These students will be recognized for all A's, A-B Honor Roll, and Perfect Attendance during Pride Time.

On Tuesday, February 25, 2025, starting at 6:00 p.m., Charles City High School will host a College Night informational session in the CCHS Auditorium. This is for any student considering postsecondary educational opportunities, such as college or trade school. Β We will have guests from different colleges and organizations in attendance to present and answer any questions you may have. Β In addition, there will be a $1,000 scholarship raffle for seniorsΒ and a small gift raffle for underclassmen.

Charles City County Public Schools would like to give a HUGE shout out to our amazing CTE teachers! Thank you Mrs. Spann-Hicks, Mr. Hayes, Ms. El, and Mr. Gardner for teaching our students the 21st century skills needed now, and beyond High School.

The Charles City County School Board will have a joint meeting with the Charles City County Board of Supervisors regarding the FY26 Budget on Tuesday, February 25, 2025, at 6 p.m.
The meeting will take place at the Government Administration Building.
