Virginia is currently following the 2018 Science Standards of Learning. These standards include NGSS (Next Generation Science Standards) which test real world science phenomena. To teach these standards, teachers have access to a plethora of school provided, and district paid resources, which are listed below.

Listed below is the quarterly pacing, and curriculum framework used for Charles City County Public Schools. All pacing is aligned to the 2018 Virginia Standards of Learning for Science. CCPS uses Five Ponds Press for Kindergarten, Activate Learning Prime for 1st grade, and STEMscopes for grades 2-6.
