Ms. Scibelli's 3rd grade class experienced a live stream with Greenville Zoo on Earth Day. They got to see educational animal ambassadors and learn how Greenville is conserving plants and animals in the wild!
CCES Teachers- Mrs. Delzer (ITRT), Mrs. Elliott (6th Grade), Mrs. Lynch (Library), joined the Stem Extension Specialist at VSU for some 3-D printing fun! We 3D printed our designs and learned about basic design elements. Great way to start Spring Break!
Ms. Rigney taught her 5th grade class about rotation vs. revolution, during their Science SOL review! Students rotated, and revolved around each other as an engaging, memorable demonstration that they won't forget!
Dash bots for the win! Students learned about metric measurement while they pretended to be VDOT workers getting rid of the snow! Students used Blockly to program their robots to move through the maze and bring the snow to the finish!
