Good afternoon CCPS families,
Check out the flyer below, for an upcoming family movie night hosted by The Department of Charles City Social Services! This event is completely free for all Charles City County residents that are Fathers and Father Figures, and their children.

Students in Ms. Marr's 6th grade class got to experiment with Carbon Dioxide today! Not only did they learn that they PRODUCE this gas, but they also learned what affect it can have on objects (the egg). Students got to breathe into a mixture of Bromothymol Blue to discover the colore change, as they exchanged CO2 gas.

Mrs. Elliott's 5th grade class, had a "CRASHING" good time, learning about the Stock Market!
What a great way to incorporate real world concepts during Social Studies! They won't forget this lesson.

Dashing Through the Snow!
4th grade students got to work with Mrs. Lynch and Mrs. Delzer (ITRT), to make metric measurements, and code their robots to pick up the snow, and get it to the finish line! Students are learning basic coding with Blockly, and metric measurement.

Prek had an amazing time with family and friends, celebrating the "LETTER P" at Charles City Elementary today!

Join CCES in celebrating "Read Across America" Week. In honor of this coming week, we will celebrate with spirit days at CCES from Monday, March 3-Friday, March 7. Please join us in showing your TIGER PRIDE!
