Students in Ms. Marr's 6th grade class got to experiment with Carbon Dioxide today! Not only did they learn that they PRODUCE this gas, but they also learned what affect it can have on objects (the egg). Students got to breathe into a mixture of Bromothymol Blue to discover the colore change, as they exchanged CO2 gas.


Mrs. Elliott's 5th grade class, had a "CRASHING" good time, learning about the Stock Market!
What a great way to incorporate real world concepts during Social Studies! They won't forget this lesson.


Dashing Through the Snow!
4th grade students got to work with Mrs. Lynch and Mrs. Delzer (ITRT), to make metric measurements, and code their robots to pick up the snow, and get it to the finish line! Students are learning basic coding with Blockly, and metric measurement.


Prek had an amazing time with family and friends, celebrating the "LETTER P" at Charles City Elementary today!


On Tuesday, February 25, 2025, starting at 6:00 p.m., Charles City High School will host a College Night informational session in the CCHS Auditorium. This is for any student considering postsecondary educational opportunities, such as college or trade school. We will have guests from different colleges and organizations in attendance to present and answer any questions you may have. In addition, there will be a $1,000 scholarship raffle for seniors and a small gift raffle for underclassmen.

Charles City County School Board will present the school board adopted budget at the Tuesday, February 25, Board of Supervisors Meeting . The meeting will be held at 6:00pm, at the Government Administration Building, located at 10900 Courthouse Road Charles City County, VA.

Day 2 of Winter Growth Assessments continue tomorrow for grades 3-6. To ensure a successful testing experience, please remind your child to:
1. Charge their laptop each night at home.
2. Bring the computer and charger to school every day. (Especially tomorrow)
3. Come on time to class in the morning.
