CCES: Help us celebrate the 100th day of school on Friday, February 7th! You can create a shirt with 100 items, or dress like you are 100 years old. We can't wait to see what you all come up with!


Upcoming School Board Meetings -
The Charles City County School Board will have a joint meeting with the Charles City County Board of Supervisors regarding the FY26 Budget on Thurs, Feb. 6, 2025, at 6p.m. at the Government Administration Building
The Charles City County School Board will hold a Budget Work Session and Hearing of Citizens on the FY26 Budget on Wed., Feb 12, 2025, in the CCHS Auditorium. Work Session: 5:30-6:30 PM ~ Hearing of Citizens on the Budget: 6:30-7:30 PM

Scroll down on our main page, and select "Quick Links" from the menu options below the image of our school. From this list, you can select CCHS or CCES Academic Resources. On the Student Links, you will find a direct link to access CLEVER, where all of these resources are found!
This is great if you have a personal device and not a school device to access learning content outside of school!

Due to hazardous road conditions and for the safety of our students, bus drivers, and other employees, CCPS will be CLOSED on Thurs, Jan 23. We will continue to monitor the weather and the roads in our County. Students are encouraged to take time to complete any homework assignments, missing assignments, or Lexia lessons. Additionally, students can review and sharpen skills by accessing the review material located on each school’s webpage. You can access these resources by selecting your school on the CCPS website drop-down, then selecting parents or students from the menu options of the selected school. Lastly, click on Tiger Family Resources (ES), or Panther Academic Resources (HS) to view available review content, including video tutorials on how to navigate and access the platforms used by Charles City County Public Schools.


There will be a brief informational meeting on Tuesday, January 29 at 5:15pm in the CCES Cafeteria. This will be followed by STEAM Night: Polar Pioneers at 5:30pm.

Our CCPS STEAM Night has been rescheduled for Wednesday, January 29th 5:30-7:00pm. Please mark your calendars and we hope you can join us on this new date and time!

Due to the weather and school closure, we will have to reschedule our STEAM Night, originally scheduled for tonight. As soon as a makeup day is determined, we will communicate this with the CCPS community!


Due to potentially hazardous road conditions and for the safety of our students, bus drivers, and other employees, CCPS will be CLOSED on Wed., Jan 22. We will continue to monitor the weather and the roads in our County. Please be safe and have a good evening.


CCPS Students and families, in grades Prek-12, are invited to CCES on January 22 for our Polar Pioneers STEAM Night (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Math) from 5:30-7:00!

For the safety of our students, bus drivers, and other employees, CCPS will observe a two-hour delay tomorrow, Tues., Jan. 14, 2025. This will include transportation to all off-site schools. (School Start Times - CCHS: 9:20 a.m.; CCES: 10:45 a.m.). Thank you and stay safe.

Several secondary roads in our County are still hazardous for school bus travel. Due to hazardous road conditions in several areas of the County & for the safety of our students bus drivers and other employees CCPS will be CLOSED Mon Jan 13.We will cont. to monitor weather& roads
