Day 2 of Winter Growth Assessments continue tomorrow for grades 3-6. To ensure a successful testing experience, please remind your child to:
1. Charge their laptop each night at home.
2. Bring the computer and charger to school every day. (Especially tomorrow)
3. Come on time to class in the morning.

A virtual learning day may be synchronous (live) or asynchronous (working on assignments independently). The format for the Feb. 11 Virtual Learning Day will be asynchronous. During Asynchronous Learning --
• Teachers will communicate details regarding assignments and specify how work will be submitted (e.g., via Teams, when students return to school).
• Students will participate in independent, online, and/or offline learning experiences.
Teachers will communicate and specify which platforms, resources, and tools students should access to review relevant skills. Again, due to the impending weather event, Charles City County Public Schools will pivot to a Virtual Learning Day tomorrow, Tue, Feb 11, 2025.

Scroll down on our main page, and select "Quick Links" from the menu options below the image of our school. From this list, you can select CCHS or CCES Academic Resources. On the Student Links, you will find a direct link to access CLEVER, where all of these resources are found!
This is great if you have a personal device and not a school device to access learning content outside of school!

Due to hazardous road conditions and for the safety of our students, bus drivers, and other employees, CCPS will be CLOSED on Thurs, Jan 23. We will continue to monitor the weather and the roads in our County. Students are encouraged to take time to complete any homework assignments, missing assignments, or Lexia lessons. Additionally, students can review and sharpen skills by accessing the review material located on each school’s webpage. You can access these resources by selecting your school on the CCPS website drop-down, then selecting parents or students from the menu options of the selected school. Lastly, click on Tiger Family Resources (ES), or Panther Academic Resources (HS) to view available review content, including video tutorials on how to navigate and access the platforms used by Charles City County Public Schools.


There will be a brief informational meeting on Tuesday, January 29 at 5:15pm in the CCES Cafeteria. This will be followed by STEAM Night: Polar Pioneers at 5:30pm.
