The weather has had an impact on road conditions. Due to hazardous road conditions in several areas of our County, CCPS will be CLOSED on Wed, Jan 8. We will continue to monitor the weather (e.g., temperatures) and the roads in our County. Please be safe & have a good evening.


Due to potential icy road conditions, Charles City County Public Schools will be CLOSED Tuesday, Jan 7. All transportation is cancelled. Please be safe and have a good evening.

Happy Thanksgiving Charles City Public Schools Family! Today and every day, I am so very thankful for the incredible support of our school community. From our dedicated, diligent teachers and staff to our absolutely amazing parents and local community members, every one of you plays a critical role in helping our students develop and succeed. Students in Mrs. Taylors'/Mr. Washington's 7th Grade Life Science class got to extract DNA from a strawberry with our ITRT, Mrs. Delzer. Students are learning about DNA and how it is involved in Genetic Engineering, and our genes.
