Due to the weather and school closure, we will have to reschedule our STEAM Night, originally scheduled for tonight. As soon as a makeup day is determined, we will communicate this with the CCPS community!


Due to potentially hazardous road conditions and for the safety of our students, bus drivers, and other employees, CCPS will be CLOSED on Wed., Jan 22. We will continue to monitor the weather and the roads in our County. Please be safe and have a good evening.


CCPS Students and families, in grades Prek-12, are invited to CCES on January 22 for our Polar Pioneers STEAM Night (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Math) from 5:30-7:00!

Happy Thanksgiving Charles City Public Schools Family! Today and every day, I am so very thankful for the incredible support of our school community. From our dedicated, diligent teachers and staff to our absolutely amazing parents and local community members, every one of you plays a critical role in helping our students develop and succeed. Students in Mrs. Taylors'/Mr. Washington's 7th Grade Life Science class got to extract DNA from a strawberry with our ITRT, Mrs. Delzer. Students are learning about DNA and how it is involved in Genetic Engineering, and our genes.
